Hello, I'm Elora, your guide for this unique gratitude practice.
You're going to tap into the energy of gratitude through an experience of sloth-like serenity and space exploration.
It's great you're here.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
Be sure to loosen any clothing you're wearing that might feel restrictive.
Now, take a couple deep breaths, inhaling slowly and deeply through your nose, and exhaling slowly through your mouth.
As you breathe, let go of any thoughts or worries that may be clinging to your mind.
Just focus on the sensation of your breath, gently guiding it in and out.
Imagine yourself as a sloth, but not a sloth on a tree branch.
This sloth is floating gently through a universe of stars and galaxies.
You're adrift in this vast expanse of the cosmos and you are completely relaxed.
Allow your consciousness to expand into this endless space.
As you float through the universe, we're going to embark on a journey of gratitude.
With each star that shines in your view, gently let gratitude rise for a special gift in your life.
It might be something small, like the warmth of the sun on your skin, or something vast, like the love you share with family and friends.
There's no right or wrong way to do this gratitude practice, just allow your mind to explore freely.
And trust that each cosmic moment is a chance to appreciate the beauty and wonder that surrounds you.
Let's bring our attention back to this moment, feeling the peace and relaxation you've cultivated.
You might find some of the space that you created in your mind is still available.
Maybe you'd like to choose a few more stars to express gratitude for.
Or you might want to float for a little bit longer, breathing in the serenity and spaciousness of the universe.
As you begin to settle back into your body, notice any sense of connection you feel to the cosmos.
Maybe you feel a lightness in your spirit, or a renewed sense of appreciation.
Take your time unwinding.
You're welcome to linger in the space you've created, or you can take a moment to slowly move through the rest of your day, carrying with you the peace and gratitude that you've cultivated.
