Hello, I'm Elora.
Welcome to this exploration of your dharma, your true purpose, using breath awareness.
Let's get comfortable.
You can lie down, sit up, or take a reclined position.
Close your eyes, or soften your gaze.
Take a couple deep breaths.
Feel the air coming in and out of your nostrils.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Each breath carries with it a sense of calm and relaxation.
Now, allow your mind to settle.
If any thoughts arise, simply acknowledge them and let them go like clouds passing through the sky.
Just return your attention to your breath.
Let's dive into the concept of 'dharma.'
It's often translated as 'purpose,' but it's more than that.
Dharma is the unique path that's aligned with your soul's true essence, the path that brings you joy and fulfillment.
We're going to use breath awareness to connect with this inner wisdom.
**Notice your breath, feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Feel your breath flow in—bringing in—the energy of your true purpose.
As you breathe out, let go of anything that isn't aligned with your dharma.
Let go of limitations, doubts, any fears that keep you from living your true purpose.
**Now, as you breathe in, visualize a warm light, the light of your true purpose, flowing into your heart.
Feel its warmth and energy expanding in your chest.
Feel the joy and contentment of walking your dharma path.
As you breathe out, feel the light reaching into every cell of your body, transforming you from within.
**Continue breathing in this way, letting go of anything that doesn't serve you.
Feel the light of your purpose expanding within you, illuminating your path.
**Let's go deeper.
Close your eyes and see a place in your mind's eye that feels aligned with your dharma.
It might be a peaceful place in nature or a vibrant city scene.
It might be a place in the past or a future vision.
See it, feel its energy, and as you breathe, feel its warmth spreading throughout you.
**Now, as you breathe in, let go of any resistance to this path.
Breathe out any self-doubt.
Breathe in the unwavering belief in your ability to live from your dharma.
Your purpose is unfolding in every breath.
**Now, become aware of your body.
Notice any sensations.
Perhaps you feel warmth or a tingling sensation.
Whatever it may be, welcome these feelings.
They are signs of your connection to your dharma.
**Now let your awareness gently expand outward.
Notice the sounds around you.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Connect to the energy of life around you.
This is your life, and it's a journey of unfolding and discovering who you are and what your purpose is.
**Slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to bring your awareness to your surroundings.
And as you return to your day, carry the light of your dharma within you.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again next time.
