Hello!
Today we're going to explore the moon, but not just any moon.
We're going to explore the moon that's inside you, the moon of your own inner peace, while you're cooking dinner.
I'm Elora, your guide.
You've had a long day.
It's time to unwind as you prepare dinner.
Right now, before we begin, take a few moments.
Just notice your breath, noticing the rise and fall of your chest and the gentle rhythm of your breath.
As you do this, notice your body, noticing your feet on the ground, your hands on the counter, your shoulders and back.
You're already there, in your body, in this moment.
Now, close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so.
Take a deep breath in, holding it for three counts, and breathe out slowly.
Imagine you're stepping onto the surface of the moon.
It's a place of quiet, stillness, and wonder.
The air is crisp and cool.
Your feet sink softly into the powdery, gray dust.
As you walk, you notice the vast expanse of the lunar landscape.
It's a world untouched, a landscape that feels both familiar and unknown.
There are craters and valleys, mountains and plains, all bathed in the silvery light of a distant sun.
It's peaceful here.
You're at the edge of something vast and unexplored.
You're discovering new things, new wonders, new parts of yourself.
Just as you continue to explore this lunar landscape, you can also explore the landscape of your kitchen.
Now, you might be thinking, 'But Elora, I'm a long way from the moon.
I'm in my kitchen, surrounded by the smell of dinner.
But I'm asking you to see your kitchen as a lunar landscape, a place of discovery, a place where magic happens.
The chopping of vegetables is like the rhythmic rumble of a lunar rover.
The simmering of the stew is like the gentle hum of a distant star.
And the aromas that fill the air โ think of them as the scents carried on a lunar breeze.
When you're feeling overwhelmed, just pause and look around.
Notice the beauty of the spices, the colors of the vegetables, the warmth of the light.
And remember, you're not just cooking.
You're exploring, creating, nurturing.
Take a deep breath in, holding it for three counts, and breathe out slowly.
You're now back in your body, back in your kitchen, back on Earth.
Let go of any tension you may have been holding onto.
You're ready to continue cooking dinner, and you're ready to continue exploring your own inner lunar landscape.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again next time.
