Hello, I'm Elora.
Today, we're going to practice a powerful technique for releasing tension and anger.
We'll be focusing on the physical sensations of anger and frustration, and transforming them into a sense of peace and calm.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if that feels good to you, and take a couple deep breaths, in and out.
Notice your body and how it feels.
Release any tension you're holding in your jaw, shoulders, and forehead.
Let your breath come and go naturally.
Now, let's start by noticing your dominant hand, the hand you use to write with.
Picture yourself clenching your fist, really tightening those muscles, and feel that pressure, that tightness in your hand.
Notice any other sensations you feel in your arm, perhaps a tingle or a tremor.
Allow yourself to feel it fully.
Next, picture yourself extending your arm, aiming your fist towards something that's causing you frustration, anger, or any negative emotion.
As you do, imagine the feeling of power and release, see and feel that energy as it flows out of your hand, as you punch forward.
Release that tension, let it go.
Now, bring your attention to your other hand and repeat the process.
Clench your fist, feeling the pressure and tension in your hand and arm.
Imagine yourself extending your arm, targeting your frustration, and punching forward, releasing all that energy.
Next, focus on your feet.
Feel the weight of your body pressing down, grounding you to the earth.
Imagine your feet are connected to the ground, and as you exhale, let any remaining tension flow down into the earth, leaving you feeling lighter and more balanced.
Now, take another deep breath, and as you exhale, let go of any remaining tension.
Notice how your body feels now.
Maybe it feels lighter, more relaxed.
Gently open your eyes when you're ready, and take a moment to reflect on the changes you're experiencing.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again next time.
